Flower Friday


Hey y'all.  It has been a boring stormy few days round here, I are ready for some sunshine, but I don't know when dat one are gonna happen.  But my momma has managed to get some pics of da flowers for me.  So I can do Flower Friday dis week wif Dory.

Da irises are mostly done, but dere are still a few bloomin.




Da mommas also got some petoonias for some of da pots outside.




We got some daisies goin in da front yard.


And da hibiscuses are startin to bloom, dey are one of my momma's favorites!




Not too much new around here, my momma cut out da May dress earlier dis week, so hopefully she'll get to sewin soon.  And we's havin pizza tonite - hope I get lotsa crust!!

  3. Ohhhhhhh, wWhitley.....hope your getting a dress to match that Red & White pansie...that would look so awesome on you.........flowers here can't take the heavy rain storm......only thing blooming here is frogs!

  5. Hey...how come the kitties get the sossidges and you only get the crusts....hmmmmm.

    We just love your Iris's, and the way the raindrops are sitting on them!! Dory says she just loves your yellow dress and can't wait to see your May dress!

  8. My hibiscus died last year and I was so sad. I planted flowers in my big planters but didn't mess with my gardens. Yours are gorgeous!!

  9. Crikey ..... they're weird lookin' pansies. Nothing like what we call pansies. Our pansies are all velvety like. Is it STILL rainin' at your house???? Betta get someone to start building an ark, aye????

    2. Yup, dey are petoonias. I told momma off for writin it wrong and she says I gets da help I pays for. And dat if I want better help, I shouldn't wake her up at 4 in da mornin wantin back up on da bed when she are sick.

  16. Well I could tell it was raining with the drops on the flowers. They look so pretty. The clematis are blooming wonderfully around here.

  17. Those hibiscus are so pretty and something growlmy has nevfur been able to grow here, though some peeps do have em. One garden we see has blooms about the size of dinner plates, OMD!! (But not til later, much later in mid to late summer...)

    I enjoyed your garden tour of the blooms:))
