We gots da ice here, which means all da peeps are here at home. And nobody are doin much of anythin cept watchin movies and stayin warm and stuff like dat. Ya know what dis sounds like to me momma?? Good weather for sewin, dat are what.
OH we just SAW this on the Nightly News... we are sorry... ICE is really SCARY.. REALLY REALLY Scary... Somebuddy needs to UNPLUG the FREEZER to stop all this madness... Stay SAFE...
Oh Whitley, ice sure is scary and nasty stuffs!!!! Best to stay inside and snuggle with the peeps....and puts them to work at the sewing machine!! BOL I hopes that ice melts soon...in the mean time, might as well make MARGARITAS!!! Kisses, Ruby ♥
Ice should only be allowed for the word ice cream. Yep I have been ~ Slip sliding away, slip sliding away You know the nearer your destination The more you're slip sliding away. Thanks for being a friend Sweet William The Scot
We had no idea that you got "ice days" as well as snow days. Tell your peeps to be careful. Now about this sewing situation of yours...we're thinking it may be time to call in Ernie The Attorney...just a thought. Wally & Sammy
I are one hundred percent for it. A big pawty wif Sasha's foodables, Finley's Texas BBQ, Ruby margaritas, my tropical drinks, yeah, dat are eggsactly what we needs.
I thought I heard the kitties there say the peeps were baking? How does that compare to sewing...you eat and the yums are gone, you sew, and voila, you have a dress!
Take care in all that horrid bad weather. You look so sweet in your picture up there...
I am thinking your Mom needs to knit you a warm woolly sweater (like the one Gail is knitting me, which may or may not be finished for next winter…) Toodle pip! Bertie.
Momma spent a lot of time yesterday cooking, and then she spent all night curled up with my watching TV and doing her sewing. Today she's going to sew some more. I think that sounds just pawfect.
We didn't think Texas got ice or snow for that matter! We are Canadians so we could be confused...but in any case, stay warm and snuggly and enjoy your family around you as the ice hopefully melts! Whitley...it sounds as though a new dress for you is right around the corner , lucky girl! :)
It's 61 here. No need for sewing.

We're in Dallas and we usually get snow or ice a couple times a winter at least. It's a lot rarer in Houston or San Antonio which are further south.
