Barkworthies Bully Sticks

Hey y'all!  I has a review today for ya.  I got to try out a Barkworthies Odor Free Bully Stick.   Da Barkworthies bully sticks are single-ingredient chews dat are additive, chemical, and preservative-free.  Dey's all natural and 100% digestible.  I's a terrieriest as ya know, which pretty much means I luv chewin (yup, even at almost 13), so I wuz eggcited to give dis chew a try.

I got sent a 6 inch bully stick, which are recommended for small to medium pups.  Guess I fit da category!

It are made from beef pizzle.  Now, if ya don't know what "pizzle" are, I's here to tell ya, it are bull penis.  Yup, I'll just tell it like it are.  But pizzle certainly are a funnier word for it.  Nuffin wrong wif usin ALL da parts of an animal I says.  Maybe it are cuz I wuz originally from a Native American (Cherokee to be specifical) lady, but it are da right thing to do.

Da shape and texture of dis chew are sposed to promote dental health while also preventin bad doggy breath.  Luckily, dat one are usually not a problem for me!

I wuz interested in it right away.

June Dress

Well, I promised y'all I'd show off my June dress today.  So far, my momma has actually managed to make 6 dresses in 6 months.  I are shocked she has actually accomplished it.

As ya can tell, dis dress has kinda a tropical theme.  Beachy colors, palm trees, lime wedges, coconuts . . . hey, dis kinda just sounds like my momma's tropical bartendin ona dress.

Where are my Mai Tai?

It even has palm tree buttons and lime green rick rack.  Ok, let's go to Hawaii, I's ready for a luau.  And I'm pretty sure Travis will wanna come along too to get some of dat roasted piggy.  BOL BOL!

Sunday Selfie

Do ya know where I is for my selfie?

Yeah, I is in da pool.  Dat are pretty much where I spent most of da weekend.  Not only did I get in lotsa pool ball and floatin and swimmin time, momma also finished my June dress dis weekend!  I'll be showin ya dat one tomorrow.

But dat are only after I has played.

I get multiple rounds of pool ball a day.  I used to play for a real long time, but now da playtimes are broken up and shorter so dat my back legs can get a break from all da jumpin.

I might be almost 13, but I still wants to play.  I'll bark nonstop at momma while she throws da balls for me.

I just need to get da udder peeps to come out and throw da ball for me - da more peeps throwin da ball, da better.

I sure does have fun playin though.

It's only when I are tired dat I are ready to float.

Sunday Selfie

As most of y'all know, I don't has a hooman daddy (mainly becuz my momma has not met Ryan Lochte yet - BOL!), but I does live wif my grandpaw, so we gots to celebrate Father's Day today.

My momma made crabbycakes eggs benedict for brunch and even though I didn't get none of da crabbycakes or da eggy weggys, I did get to lick some of the hall-and-daze off da plates and dat wuz tasty!

I luvs my grandpaw a tons - well, I luvs all men a lot.  Momma says I are a puppy slut cuz I go crazy over guys.  Well, I admits it.  And I luvs my grandpaw a lot, he gives real good rubs and shares some of his foodz wif me.

So Happy Father's Day grandpaw!  Hope ya has one pawsome day!

Yappy Birthday Angelique!

Today it are my kitty sisfur, Angelique's birfday!  Ok, well, she are my momma's sisfur's kitty so I guess dat makes her my cuzzin, but all dat gets confuseratin, so I just says all us animals is sisfurs and brofurs cuz it are easier.  Anyways, lil Angelique are one year old today!  Happy birthday pretty kitty!

I wore my cuppycake dress to celebrates.  I wuz tryin to convince my momma dat we should make Angie a birfday cake, but she says dat Angie wuzn't gonna want cake.  Travis, my kitty brofur, probably would eat cake since he eats most everything and has been caught tryin to get some before.  But Angie are a lil more discriminatin in her eatin.

We did get some birfday bacon today - it sure wuz tasty!!

Angie has been gettin lotsa toys and treats, so she has been havin a pretty good day.  Happy birthday pretty girl kitty!

Bravo for Speshul Moments

As most of y'all know by now, I luvs me my swimmin pool.  Which are kinda unusual for a terrierist, lots of my westie and scottie buddies hate da water.  But not me, I luvs it.  Which are kind of a speshul deal for me and my momma.  See, she used to be a competitive swimmer back before she got to short for it.  Well, more like everybody else kept growin.  And I mean, wakin up at 4 in da mornin for early mornin swim practice and then practicin again after school kinda swimmer.  Her skin had a permanent chlorine smell to it.

So when she discovered I luved da pool (which I showed her when I wuz just a teeny pup by jumpin in repeatedly in November, BOL), she wuz really happy.  Cuz she luvs da pool and goes swimmin everyday in da summer.  It are a fun thing we gets to do together.

We go on walks everyday too, but dey are gettin tuffer and tuffer for me since I are gettin close to 13 and has arthur-eye-tis.  And terrieriest stubbornness too.

But ya wouldn't know any of dat by da way I plays pool ball, my own speshul game.  I's never been big on tug, I likes fetch, but I LUVS boucin dem plastic play balls in da pool.  Everyday I gets so eggcited when momma gets on her bikini.

I don't play quite as long as I used too, but I still luvs it.  And momma makes sure I gets to play everyday we can.  Dere's been times we couldn't play - when we lived in Lost Angelus where dere wuz no pool, when we lived in Bawston, or when we lived in Austin (where dere wuz a pool but no dogs wuz allowed.)  But now I gets to play all da time.

Sometimes I just like floatin round da pool too.

Dis year, for da first time ever, I are actually lettin momma share my pool float.  When I are tired of playin, but still wants to float, she'll float wif me.

Me and my momma is best pals.  We's been everywhere together, all da way from high school to college and law schools - both coasts and lotsa places in between.  But playin in da pool are one of our speshul moments together.

As some of y'all probably know, June are Adopt a Cat Month.  And no, I's not gettin a new brofur or sisfur - momma just likes to look at da kitties at Petco.  She says da next new animal will probably be a puppy - what da woof???  I are enuf momma!  Anyways, my pals at Bravo are celebratin Adopt a Cat month by lettin me and my kitty siblings do a giveaway.
