Flower Friday


Hi pals! Well, as ya can tell, we has been gettin ready for Howloween.


Well, when we aren't having to dog paddle through da puddles round here.


Since it are October, our flowers are all kinda disappearing. But we duz have some speshul visitors coming though.


Da monarchs are makin dere annual migrayshun through our area. We luv to watch em fly round da backyard.  


But tonite we has football and baseball to watch.


And bark at, BOL!


And Finley got a new Howloween onesie - it are so cute! I are jealous!

P.S. Momma's figgered out how to reply to comments again - it just duzn't show up underneath your comment, so we is gonna be doing an @whoever so ya know who we is talkin to!

  1. The monarch is a most regal looking butterfly. And you girls are looking spiffy as ever. Especially Finley in her Halloween onesie! Did you get to try it on Kinley?

  2. Love the monarchs and we try to help them with milkweed and bring the chrysalises in to hatch. Do you have milkweed in your yard? There are several species and each has a different flower. We have swamp milkweed with pink flowers and the butterflies prefer it. We also have 2 tropical milkweeds with orange flowers but they don't like those. I'm told it's best to find out which varieties are native to your area and plant those :)

  4. Ooooooooo...Mama loves Monarchs, they are sooooo pretty! Ummmm, girls....you do know you're wearing blue and gold and NOT burnt orange?? Although you look so very beautimous, you might look even more beautimous in your Longhorn dresses ;-).

    @Amy Boyer - Yeah, milkweed are real good for butterflies. We also has a lot of wildflowers which dey like in da spring.

    @Kismet - ya know ya has missed em birdbrain.

    @The Gang at LLB - Dat's becuz UCLA played Friday. Today we are all decked out in Longhorn gear.

    @C.L.W. STEP - Dey must have becuz we has TONS!
