Sad News

Hi pals. We has some sad news about a Facebook/Dogster friend, Cindy Green (if ya wuz on Dogster, ya might remember her pups Luna and angels Milo and Hobo). Cindy was found deceased this weekend, her last Facebook post wuz on the 11th (and she posted pretty much everyday). Luna passed away too - she ran out of food and water. They think Cindy died on the 11th or 12th. Momma wuz thinking about her tonight since she always posted about politics and the debate was on.  

Cindy loved animals and she really loved her pup Luna, I know she would have hated what happened to her. 

She wuz a retired pediatrics nurse and a long-time Democratic party activist, she wuz a huge supporter of women's rights and gay rights. She worked for San Diego Democrats for Equality.

It's so sad, she will be missed by so many people.

Please, if you know someone who lives alone and is older - check on them and their animals, especially if they stop posting on social media. 

And if you're older and alone, please arrange to have someone check on you and your animals if they don't hear from you. 

We're gonna miss our friends Cindy and Luna.

Day of the Cowboy

Apparently, according to da Book of Faces anyways, today are da Day of the Cowboy.

So that meant cowboy dresses!

Or even better, cowgirls!!

Finley tried to convince da mommas she needed a steak to celebrate properly.

No such look there.

But we did get some ground beef and bacon!

Yee haw!

Finley did a buckin bronco impression when my momma pilled her, so I guess she wuz gettin in da rodeo spirit.

We've been having a good weekend - bike rides (for me), outside time in da backyard, and best of all, we's been having a cool front so our night walks has been cooler! Yeah, in Texas, it being in da high 80s for a high are a COOL front. 

We're getting ready to go on another one.

Our mommas are lucky to have us - a few nights ago, there were 2 coyotes! But they saw the three of us and took off. Yup, dat's us, scaring coyotes away wif our terriertude. Don't even think about gettin near our mommas! Git along lil dogie coyote.

I'm Back!

We're back!

Didja wonder where we went?

Well, we didn't go anywhere.

But our internet and TV did.

A contractor for the gas company cut our TV/internet line and we couldn't get it fixed until TODAY!

My momma wuz going CRAZY!

So wuz Brinley. As ya know, she's a big TV fan and she only had ONE to watch when da mommas put in a movie (she likes to run room to room barking da TVs - we has 7).

What's that about peace and quiet Finley??

Anyways, it wuz a tuff week for da humans. But we had fun. 

Cuz Wednesday wuz me and Brinley's Gotcha Day!

My momma made use these pink princess dresses.

Since we're princesses, it are pawfect for us!

We got gotted three years ago.

Ok, more like three years and a week ago now.

But we thought ya'd like to see our celebrayshun anyways, even it are late.

We also got these puppacino stuffies!

Look like Brinley needs da caffeine infushun.

Oh, and here are the other side of the new dress.

There's some more princesses on a lighter pink.

Very girly for us girly girls.

We liked our new dresses a lot.

Oh, and did I menshun we got extra treats??

We also got toys from my grandma!

We both got a new Lambchop and I got tennis balls!

I LUV tennis balls!

Finley says she mostly glad we got gotted. I think dat are a compliment.

We also spent some time on da pool float.

It are a fun way to beat da heat.

We aren't much for swimming, but we do like floating.

And we look cute doing it! 

We had a lot of fun walks and playtime this week.

Oh, by da way, Finley's bloodwork from the vet came back good.

She's doing great for 13!

Speaking of vets . . . 

Me and Brinley had to go for our annual checkup Monday. 

We did good - I weighed in at 15.9 pounds and Brinley wuz 15.1. No more teasing me about being a fat butt momma! I'm perfect!

We both did really good. Da vet and all the techs luved us and kept saying how sweet we were. 

We got them fooled! 

Anyways, we're happy to be back to blogging!
