Music Monday

Hi pals. We wuz gettin ready to do a Music Monday post, but furst we have some sad news. Da momma of Milton and Mr. Stubbs (Shirley Carroll) has passed away. They were our pals and commented on a lot of blogs, so we figured some of you would want to know. 

The theme of this week's Mewsic Moves Me blog hop is celebrating Farm Aid, the annual music festival to support family farmers. Since farmers mean FOOD, we are obviously big fans.

Here's some of momma's favorites performing at Farm Aid. She's seen all of these musicians live and definitely recommends seeing them if ya have da chance.

Happy Texas Independence Day!

Happy Texas Independence Day! All three of us dressed up for today to say happy birthday to our home state!

Ok, me and Brinley are not natives, but Finley wuz born in Fort Worth. 

I think we all count as Texans, even if Travis are spouting off dat Texas should build a wall to keep more westies from comin in and chantin "lock her up." Momma says he watches too much TV and just cuz he has orange fur are no excuse to be like dat. BOL! 

See my Texas dress, beat dat kitty cat! But da day wuz not all fun and treats, I also got a groomin. I guess it are not TOO bad since I can see again now.

Anyways, happy birthday Texas! And I'm inviting all my pals to come over for some BBQ, steaks, enchiladas, chili, margaritas, Shiner Bock, pecan pie, and Blue Bell ice cream! After all, being friendly are da Texas way.

And maybe a lil bit of Willie's Reserve, BOL!

P.S. - Travis wuz havin a problem on Facebook and Instagram (they are saying his blog is SPAM) and now it are happening to me too. Either they have some beyond #$^ed up algorithms, or somebody is out to get my momma and is reporting us as spam. So frustrating. 😡😡😡

Happy Monday pals! Wait, are dat even possible? I guess on three day weekends it are possible. Well, we has more cold weather here, but at least it wuz dry so we got our walk in. Even if da mommas wuz all bundled up and complaining about da cold. 

Dis week, we're joining in da Mewsic Moves Me blog hop - da theme dis week are National Battery Day (who knew??) and da keywords are "battery," "charge," "alarm," and "smoke." So here's a couple of songs.
