National Margarita Day!

It's National Margarita Day! We tried to convince our mommas we needed the real thing (like they got tonite), but we just got this bark-a-rita to play wif instead.

It are fun, but it are missin da ta-kee-la.

It's also National Walk the Day. Which ya shoulda celebrated BEFORE National Margarita Day.

We wore our cocktail dresses (which yes, have margaritas on em) on our walk. And barked all would-be rita snatchers.

So yesterday wuz National Luv Your Pet Day. But my momma musta read it wrong.

Cuz she thought it wuz Bathe Your Dog day!

OMD! We has been wronged! We demand re-paw-rashuns. In da form of cookies!

At least we didn't hafta put up wif dat baff stuff today.

It's finally stopped raining, so we've been getting our walks.

 Flowers are starting to pop up - our daffydils are looking pretty!

Spring is on its way!

Hi pals! We has some good news - Brinley is back to feeling good!

I are glad my BFF are feeling better. We got to go on a Zombie Patrol today too. And now da nayborhood are safe! 

Ok, so on to da songs. Da theme dis week are songs that tell a story. We're stickin to just 5 cuz, uhh, da momma thought of a million or something. If ya needs more, Travis has another 5.

The Dixie Chicks Goodbye Earl. My momma did a whole carefully choreographed routine to this song for theater class in middle school. And she remembers all da motions too, BOL BOL. At least she didn't do them when she finally got to see the Dixie Chicks in 2011.

Johnny Cash A Boy Named Sue. Life ain't easy for a boy named Sue.

Britney Spears Lucky. If ya know my momma, ya knew she'd have a Britney song in there. There's two Britney posters in my room, BOL.

  

Eminem Stan. Lotsa Eminem's songs tell a story. For some unknown reason, people like to refer to themselves as Stans. Not shure if they get the song.

Green Day Jesus of Suburbia. The whole American Idiot album tells a story, this song is like a chapter in that story. Momma LUVS Green Day and this song. She's gonna see them (again) this summer.

Sunday Selfies

It's Sunday so it's selfie time!

This weekend, we wore our brand new dresses we got for Valentine's!

One side looks like a pretty forest.

There's even some sparkles in it! 

And snowflakes! Ok, maybe 75 degrees isn't snowflake weather, but it are cute.

There's golden pinecone buttons too!

Today we wore the other side of the dress.

This side has a camping theme.

There's even camping buttons!

And we were camping out in the kitchen waiting for FOOD!

Unfortunately, Brinley's tummy are not cooperating wif her.

She's been feeling bad pretty much all day, so she's just been napping a lot.

Finley napped a lot too, but that's usual for her, BOL.

I hope my bestie's tummy feels better so we can get back to chasing zombies and skwerrils together!
