My Momma's Birfday

So while all my pals, well, at least all my American pals, is celebratin Fanksgivin wif da eatin of da turkey and pumpkin pies, we is not.  Cuz it are my momma's birfday and she don't wanna share wif nobody, speshully not a big ol burd and cornbread dressin (not dat she don't like Fanksgivin food, she just wants what she wants for her birfday).  Now, did she pick somefin I could share wif her???  NOPE!  She goes and picks Cajun crawfish enchiladas and salted caramel chocolate cake - 2 delishus smellin foods dat are NOT for pupses.  Totally unfairs.

Anyways, ever since she had her 12th birfday on Fanksgivin go not so great and she whined bout it for years and years, da family just celebrates Fanksgivin on Friday when it are also my momma's birfday.  Yeah, she are a spoiled princess.  And she likes it dat way, kinda like me.

I guess I shouldn't whine TOO much, since I wuz a birfday present many many years ago, I are glad my momma has her birfday when she does.  Udderwise, I wouldn't be here.  And we is gettin da Burd and da smashed taters tomorrow - yum yum.  I still think momma just should picked somefin for her birfday foods dat I could sharesies wif her.

Da peeps started off da day wif a tasty brunch - crabcakes eggs benedict and grapefruit mimosas.  At least I gots to lick da crabbycake plates - not dat my momma left me much of anything (she are a crazypants gurl for da hall-and-daze sauces).

My momma got tons of cool stuff for her birfday - at least she seemed to like it.  I wuz just happy dat dere wuzn't a puppy in one of dose boxes, I is worried my momma are gettin Puppy Fever™.

Whew, no puppy.  So far, so good.
