Ok, there wuz da dreaded weekly baff yesterday, but we all survived.
I are doing my best to keep my momma from going crazy. She are not doing good wif nuffin to do and everyday being like Groundhog Day over and over forevers.
At least she's got us to keep her busy.
Just as long as "busy" don't mean more baffs! And now for some flowers . . .
Hey y'all! Well, da momma are in a bit of a funk today. A concert she'd been looking forward to for months wuz supposed to happen this week. It's obviously been postponed cuz Miss Rona decided to extend her tour instead. I gave her westie kisses to help her feel better.
Dis has been a tuff year on da humans. They're either worried about getting sick, someone they luv getting sick, losing their jobs, losing their businesses, losing money in their savings, missing having a social life, or all of it. And here in da US, there's still an election to get through. Yikes! They're gonna need a LOT of westie kisses.
Good thing they've got us. Anyways, 2020 has been (and will keep being) a tuff year. But one of the high spots, at least for my momma, has been music. There's no new movies, no concerts, pretty soon no new TV shows, but there has been some good new music. So for the rest of this year, unless there's another theme or holiday, for da Mewsic Moves Me hop, we're going to be sharing some new songs from 2020 we're enjoying. A year this bad has gotta have some redeeming features after all.
So, today we got another early morning walk. There's a lot less people out walking this year - we think it is cuz peeps are staying in cuz of da Corona. Which don't bother us at all since we get to OWN the neighborhood.
But there's still enuf peeps out that we can literally stop traffic. 😉
Oh and we also got BACON today. So, a pretty good day for us.
Well, baseball are back. Which are good - I know I'd be going nuts if I didn't have balls to chase for months. Did y'all see Dr. Fauci throw out da first pitch? It's clear he duzn't want anyone to catch anything!
We had a fun day of playing outside - and we got good and muddy too. But we also had to have our weekly baths tonite.
Too bad baths can't be cancelled like everything else this year.
It's Music Monday and the theme this week is songs about the moon! So me and Brinley are wearing our celestial dresses, which have, ya guessed it, moons on em!
We like to bark at the moon. Ok, we like to bark at everything.
