Santa Paws Queshtuns

Me and Brinley has been thinkin (a dangerous pastime we knows) bout dis Santa Paws guy.  See, Finley has been tellin us all bout him.  Like dat he will bring us eggstra treats and toys if we let our older sister have all of our treats.  And dat we have to let her have whatefur toy she wants, even if we just picked it up to chew on.  And dat we have to let da oldest dog in da house sit in whatefur lap she wants to, even if we is already asleep.

And she told us dat none of dese Santa Paws rules apply once you are over 10.  Which, she conveniently is.

So, we is wonderin pals, is Finley tryin to pull one over on us???  Or duz Santa just really prefur older sisters??

Sunday Selfie

It are Santa Selfie time!!!

Today I's modelin a new fleecey jacket my momma made me - it has da Coke Santa dude on it.  My momma and Finley's momma LUV Coke Santas.  Finley's momma even made a blanket outta dis fleece, so if I gets on top of it, I could be camoflaged!!!

And yeah, dat are Crockett photobombin me.  Me and him is really gettin to be besties lately.

Since I's already showed off da inside of da house, I thought today I'd show da outside.

Lotsa bright multicolored lights.

And a family of movin deers.

We's da best house on da block.  But our block has got a lotta duds, so da competishun ain't really fair.  But da mommas add more and more lights every year anyways.

And it don't stop in da front yard, dey also decorate da backyard and da back fence (we has rear-entry garages round here).

Da car port are new, so da mommas decorated dat for da furst time dis year.  Dey wuz pretty pleased wif how it turned out, it are real pretty to drive through all da lights.  It are even more eggciting when ya is drivin through all dem lights and Whataburger are in da car.  Just sayin.

Well, da mommas has been real busy wif Christmas bakin, wrappin, sewin, and last minute shoppin.  So I guess dat's bout all I gots to say, but I hope y'all liked da light show!

And I's wearin my sweater to celebrate.  I's already for a Christmas Sweater Pawty, even if dis sweater are cute and not ugly.  But most anything on me are cute, it are just what happens when ya is dis adorable.  And I's modest too!

I's been watchin da mommas do tons of Christmas cookin.  And hanging out in da kitchen, because, well, ya never know what might fall to da ground.  So far dey has made peanut brittle,

pecan pie bars,

pecan brittle,

spritz cookies,

pumpkin bread,

lemon tea bread,

candy lasses,

Bacardi rum cakes,

and apricot bread.

And dere are still lots more bakin left to do!

Too Much Nog?

Momma says I wuz doin my Bad Santa impresshun and dat it looked like I'd been imbibin too much of da nog.  Do she even look at herself in da mirror when she wakes up?  She are not one to talk bout crazy lookin furs.  

In other news, dere tons of food bein made round here which are always a good thing.  I been doin my best job to trip da peeps in da kitchen - sometimes it even works!
