Finley are tryin to convince us dat da mommas is makin all dis elaborate foods for her 12 1/2 birthday, not for Thanksgiving . . . 

She says dat means SHE gets all da turkey for pups!  I don't think dat one are right . . .

Anyways, we's thankful pups. Thankful for tennis balls (me), TVs to bark at (Brinley), being Alpha Dog (Finley), kittehs to chase and play wif (me), pillows (Brinley) belly rubs (Finley). And food. We's ALL thankful for dat one!

We's also all thankful for our pals in Blogville - we luv gettin to share our lives wif ya and we luvs havin friends all over da world.

Happy Thanksgiving!  I'm fankful for my BFF Brinley, my big sister Finley, my kitteh siblings, and all my peeps - my momma, my Aunt Ally, and my grandma and grandpa.  And my stuffies, my tennis balls, my dresses, and my tasty noms.  And I are fankful for my pals in Blogville, y'all are da bestest - y'all welcomed me and Brinley to Blogville right away and we has had so much fun here gettin to know puppies, kittehs, birdies, bunnehs, and peeps all round da world.  We luvs ya so much!

Brinley had some strong opinions bout da Nashinul Dog Show today. She has lotsa opinions bout TV, speshully medical commershuls, horses, dogs, da Prez, well, a LOT of things.

While she wuz barkin da TV, I wuz hangin in da kitchen.  I mean, who cares about TV when ya can smell DIS???

P.S. Yup, we did get some turkey. And a lil gravy and smashed taters.  YUM YUM YUM.

Fanks Blogville!

OMD, y'all!  Finley wuzn't kiddin when she said today wuz speshul!  Da tasty smells started goin in da kitchen last nite (PIES and cornbread and cranberries) and kept on goin today!

And bestest of all wuz dat TURKEY!  OMD, me and Brinley got our furst taste of turkey today and let's just say we is BIG fans.  Can it be Fanksgivin everyday??

Oh yeah, I is also sposed to say why I's fankful for Blogville.  I is so fankful for all my pals and how welcomin y'all has been to me and Brinley.

And momma is fankful to how kind everyone wuz when Miss Whitley died.  Dis year has been tuff for her (she says me and Brinley are da only good fings bout it) and havin our Blogville pals has helped a lot.  A big fanks for Dory for organizin da Dress Up For Whitley day and for everyone who partisimapated.  Today me and momma dressed up as twinsies - go Cowboys!!

Happy Fanksgivin y'all!  I's been practicin barkin all day.  Fanksgivin are always kinda a barkapalooza for me, ya gots to bark a lot to get some of dat delishus burd.

I are all dressed up in my Texas Longhorns shirt today since dey are gonna be playin foozball tonight.  Da peeps are watchin da Cowboys, and so far dey is not impressin.  And tomorrow, momma's team, UCLA, takes on da dancin trees of Leland Stanfurd Junior University, so I are gonna be all dressed up for dat too.

But Fanksgivin weekend are bout more da foodz and football.  It are bout shoppin for cute LWDs too.  Wait, whut momma?  Dat are not what it are bout??  Oh yeah, it are also bout bein fankful and dat are why I are joinin in da Thanks Blogville! bloghop.

I's so fankful for all my pals in Blogville.  Some of y'all I has known for years, since over on dat Dogster place.  And we's all grown up (and some of us has grown old) together.  And some of y'all are newer pals who welcomed me when I started up bloggin again.  I are so fankful for all of y'all.  I got pals all over dis country, and I even got pals in places I are never gonna get to go sniff, like da land Down Under, Canookistan, my ancestral home Scotland, France, South Africa, well, really, all over da place!  And I are so fankful for all of y'all - I luvs readin bout your lives and feel so lucky to have so many pawsome, nice (and CUTE!) pals.  Luv y'all - hope ya get some turkey (or other treat if you's not in America) today.
