Happy birthday Finley!

Today our big sister is 14!! Wow, in a couple more years, she'll be able to drive!

We planned a super fun birthday for her. Ok, da mommas helped a lil. 😉

We started off the day wif a tasty breakfast of fried eggy weggy, cheeze, and bacons!!

It wuz a big hit!

Finley scarfed it right down. Then she took a nice long nap. 

Pretty soon, it wuz time for her to open her presents. Her big present is still ON DA WAY, but she still did pretty good today. Grandma and Brinley gave her dis s'more toy. 

And a cooler filled wif squeaky beers!

Me and momma gave her a baby Groot! I think she are trying to figger out which toy to chew on first.

She also got some new jackets.

She's gonna be da best dressed 14 year old pup around!

As I said, she has a major present on da way - it should get here in a couple days. But I think she liked her toys - best of all, they double as pillows.

Then for dinner we got STEAK! We all got to go outside to snoopervise da grillin.

YUM!

And then Finley got her very own lemon-tangerine birthday cake! 

Her momma did a pawsome job on it. My momma assisted and me and Travis snoopervised the baking.

Finley wasted no time eating that cake. 

That's one clean bowl, BOL!

Drive-By Concert

Hi pals!

Well, last nite we had a lil bit (ok, a very lil bit) of excitement on our street. 

It's good to finally have something interesting happen. Well, other dan da po-po showin up to arrest da naybor a couple houses down . . .  

We had our very own drive-by concert!

We were comin home from da walk when da naybors across da street (who are not busy getting arrested by da way) told us about it. 

So we sat out in da yard wif da mommas and waited for da pawty.  

Ok, da two of us thought sitting in the front yard wuz a pawty all by itself. 

But den da drive-by concert happened!

Da musician wuz a former American Idol contestant - momma said he had a pretty good voice.

We liked getting to hear da music.

Brinley had a different opinion about da people who dared walk by OUR house. Speshully the ones wif dogs and on bikes.

Anyways, it wuz fun to have a lil but of live music. Speshully for da mommas who has really had da sads since a concert they'd been looking forward to for months has been postponed. 

And I'm pretty shure the singer thought we were cute!

Today though - we all got our weekly baffs. Momma said we had to be nice and clean for Finley's birthday tomorrow. 

At least I got in some tennis ball time.

Music Monday

Hi pals! Well, it wuz another quarantine Monday. It just seems kinda endless for da mommas. 

We don't mind, and we like that they don't have anywhere else to go. More time wif da pups!

Anyways, since quarantine and COVID are all anyone can talk about, we are doin another coronavirus-inspired playlist for Music Monday.

Sunday Selfies

Hey pals! It's Sunday so it's selfie time. 

We had a fun day today - a bike ride for me, lotsa outside time playing in da dirt, and a walk! 

It are gonna be Finley's birthday later this week. Guess I better start thinking of a good present for her.

I know I've barked about how my BFF Brinley LUVS da TV. Well, she really luvs "the barkies" - they're classic shorts they show on TCM featuring dogs acting like people. Last night one wuz on and she went crazy for it. Maybe she wuz asking who their agent is??

Rainy Day Lazies

We had a lazy day here since it wuz raining. No bike rides, walks, or outside time in da backyard. But I did get in a lotta snuggles. 

Momma got started on a new dress for us too. And we didn't hafta get groomed!! Da mommas are threatening it though.

Let's hope da sunshine comes back out to distract em!
