Blogville Rodeo Saloon!


Howdy folks and welcome to the Hair of the Dog Saloon!

Whether y'all have spent the day bustin broncos wif Frankie and Ernie, bull ridin wif Casey, mutton bustin wif Mabel, Skwerril Ropin wif Ruby, Barrel Racin wif da Mayor Doodz, or Trick Ridin wif Jack and TG, me and my BFF and assistant bartender Miss Finley has got your liquid refreshments on paw!  After all, ya might needs a lil liquid courage to try out bein a rodeo clown wif Madi, or to get up and show off your poetical and musical skills wif Yam Aunty.  I'm sure our rodeo announcer Sweet William are gonna need somefin to sooth his throat after barkin out everything all day.  Be sure to stop by Ziggy's chuck wagon and Dory's square dance when ya leaves da saloon - after all, a lil bourbon and branch can really liven up your two-step and do-si-do.


Of course me and Miss Finley are wearin our Texas dresses today - we's real saloon girls!


Can we interest y'all in some whiskey??


Or maybe some of you vaqueros prefurs tequila??


We recommend Dos Armadillos.


And if ya prefurs beer, don't worry, we got Shiner and Lone Star on hand for you cowpokes.


I'd recommend Shiner Ruby Redbird or Shiner Prickly Pear to help cool ya down.


Now, for ya kittens, puppies, and teetotalers (why ya'd wanna do dat, don't ask me!), don't worry, we got y'all covered too.  Wif a seleckshun of tasty Sioux City sodas - we even got sarsaparilla!








We got tables set up for y'all to play faro, three-card monte, and of course Texas Hold'Em.


And we got some rodeo tunes on the jukebox too . . .

    My throat feels like it has needles stuck in it already from the dust announcing this rodeo so give me some Shiner Prickly Pear ~ yep that is what I need.

    Mara says Whiskey sounds just perfect for her, but I would prefer some milk! Do you have any of that as well?? With a few peanuts on the side you know. Perfect to end a great day at this rodeo!
