Today it are Nashinul Honey Bee Day!
We has lotsa bees in our garden. As long as dey aren't stinging anybody, dey is ok wif us. (And yes, da momma has been stung multiple times in da last couple years when she wuz just layin out tanning, so dey do sometimes sting even when dey is not provoked).
Anyways, we wore da bee dress to sell-a-brates.
Do ya think dem honey bees would let us have some honey?? Brinley duz have a sweet tooth . . .
Here's a close up of da buttons - BUZZZ!
It is so cool that you have a dress for every day

ReplyDeleteDat's what my momma said. Well, and a few curse words bout bees.
DeleteYour bee dresses are so cute.
ReplyDeleteFanks!
DeleteWe always watch to the bees. We have lots of their favorite flowers in our yard to attract them like our giant hydrangea bush, phlox, and bee balm. Too bad we don't see as many honey bees as we used to. But there are a lot of bumblebees!
ReplyDeleteWet get lotsa honeybees and bumbles.
DeleteI am wondering if those dresses attract real live bees? I guess bees are too smart for that, although you would not think they have much space for brains.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday, sweet Westie lasses.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
Nope, dey don't seem too interested in us, dresses or naked.
DeleteAs always we, especially me, Momo adore your dress!! Very cute!

DeleteHi hi hi! Ojo here! Bees are very important because they make the plants make fruit! I LOVE fruit! Yum. I will celebrate bees! You look lovely in your dress!
ReplyDeleteFanks! I like fruit too, of course, I like EVERYTHING!
DeleteThat dress is so beautiful we are afraid it might attract bees!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Luckily, dey don't seem too interested in us.
DeleteThat dress looks so great on you! I really love the bee buttons... but I worry that I would be too tempted to nibble these off if I had an outfit like that.
ReplyDeleteLots of licks, your friend Morrie
Well, we can't reach our backs to chew, so dey is safe.
DeleteSooo cute! Our Mama has been stung in da pool too...What the fluff bees ;)
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Matt & Matilda
Yeah, dem bees can be mean.
DeleteI got stung once...actuall a whole lot of times when I found a bee nest in the ground...OUCH! At least they stung my rear and not my face..that happened to the neighbor's dog once and she almost died. Petcretary used her homeopathic remedy on her stings and in her mouth and slowly she revived...scary:(
ReplyDeleteWe get laods of busy bees here too. Last year there was a swarm in a dead tree trunk in our back woods area. But the hive was too high to reach, and petcretary did not want to irritate them by applying a ladder to that trunk...I wonder how bears get away with stealing the honey from wild hives.
And your dresses are so pretty!
OUCH! Momma says we used to get a swarm every year, but since we got da tree where da bees congregated now, we don't anymore.
