  6. We always watch to the bees. We have lots of their favorite flowers in our yard to attract them like our giant hydrangea bush, phlox, and bee balm. Too bad we don't see as many honey bees as we used to. But there are a lot of bumblebees!

  7. I am wondering if those dresses attract real live bees? I guess bees are too smart for that, although you would not think they have much space for brains.
Have a great Sunday, sweet Westie lasses.
    Toodle pip!

  11. That dress looks so great on you! I really love the bee buttons... but I worry that I would be too tempted to nibble these off if I had an outfit like that.

  13. I got stung once...actuall a whole lot of times when I found a bee nest in the ground...OUCH! At least they stung my rear and not my face..that happened to the neighbor's dog once and she almost died. Petcretary used her homeopathic remedy on her stings and in her mouth and slowly she revived...scary:(

We get laods of busy bees here too. Last year there was a swarm in a dead tree trunk in our back woods area. But the hive was too high to reach, and petcretary did not want to irritate them by applying a ladder to that trunk...I wonder how bears get away with stealing the honey from wild hives.

And your dresses are so pretty!

    1. OUCH! Momma says we used to get a swarm every year, but since we got da tree where da bees congregated now, we don't anymore.
