Hi pals!
There's been too much going on around here to be wordless.
Finley and Brinley's momma had to have surgery today. She had a squamous skin cancer (whatefur dat are) growing on her arm and she had to get it cut out. Momma says dey did da Mohs surgery and dat she got done after 2 rounds - bye bye nasty cancer!
But now her arm HURTS.
My momma said we is gonna hafta be extra good. WHAT? Like we aren't always GOOD?
Da funny thing wuz our reackshun to having to get up EARLY today - well, let's just say we aren't used to it.
I just did my bizness and ate like I normally would. Breakfast being hours earlier? Sign me up!
On da udder paw, Brinley did NOT want to get out of da big bed and wuz kinda cranky about it.
Ya could tell Finley wuz confuserated by it, but she wuzn't nearly as offended as Brinley. BOL!
Hey gurls ~ I sure hopes your Gma is gonna be okays! Tells her I am sendin' lots of POTP and healin' vibes her way! It sucks to have an injured peep....all the moaning and groaning can really mess up your snoozes, ya knows? BOL!!
ReplyDeleteAnyhu, sounds like MOST of you gurls took the change in routine in stride ☺
Who wouldn't wants an early breakie anyhu?? score!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
we send lots of potp and healing htoughts to your gma... and we hope the evil c-beast never ever comes back to her.
ReplyDeleteGail and I send our best wishes for Finley. and Brinley's Momma and hope her arm heals quickly. I do believe it was the same sort of skin cancer that Gail had removed from her right cheek last year. It healed well and there is only a slight scar. But remember, Westie girls, NO LICKING!
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
My mom has had skin cancers removed before and it is NOT fun. We hope your gram feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteThat skin cancer is scary stuff. Hope it really is gone and she can go one without any problems.
ReplyDeleteOh, girls, I sure hope your momma is resting and healing well. Be good little nurses now! <3 You are all too cute! Sending hugs to you all and momma!
ReplyDeleteWe have our paws crossed for your grandma and hope she feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteHumans get REALLY whiny when they're sick. You have to be extra careful with them. But usually they make it up to you with extra treats later! I hope your Grandma is better super soon and giving you tons of treats.
ReplyDeleteThe 3 of you (especially the Finster and Brinster), stick close to her and make her as happy as can be.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to Grandma from all of us. Our Dad had that Mohs surgery on his forehead, and he had to go three rounds. We hope she heals well.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Well, we're glad that horrible 'C' has been removed. And it better stay away! One thing about getting up early, is there is always a chance the peeps forgot to give you breakfast and you might get another....did that happen?
ReplyDeleteI hope her arm doesn't hurt anymore. Kisses for her. I cross my paws that the doctor got all the bad "C" out of her arm so it can't spread. Luvs.
ReplyDelete@Ruby - I'm just wondering how I can get momma to do dat EVERYDAY!
