Happy Birthday Finley!

 

Today Finley are 15!

So I guess dis makes it her quinceañera!

Good thing we were here to help her wif da fiesta!

She started da day by getting her birthday presents. She got two cuddly toys to snuggle wif - a rainbow Lamb Chop and a purple puppy - it even smells like lavender!

And my momma made her a new blankey and a bandana.

She even decided to model da new bandana.

Then we all had a birthday brunch - cheesy bacon omelettes! YUM!

Then Finley took a nice long nap wif her new toys and blanket. Hey, when ya is 15 and it are raining, an all day nap sounds pretty good I guess.

And we got STEAK for dinner! And ice cream for dessert!

Last night me and Brinley got on our elf jammies and waited for Santa to come.

Da mommas wuz watching It's a Wonderful Life. 

It woulda been more wonderful wif westies.

Not a creature wuz stirring . . . mainly becuz Brinley had barked herself into exhaushtuns watching A Christmas Story.

 

Then it wuz Christmas morning!

We couldn't wait to see what Santa bought!

This is Finley's 15th Christmas!

We changed into our Christmas dresses.

Double da cuteness!

Momma made me take some photos wif her. 

I luvs a Christmas hug.

And Christmas kisses! I don't even need mistletoe!

Look at that tree - it looks like Santa came!

The humans got their stockings filled.

And lotsa presents!

But enuf about them - Santa brought us presents first!

Finley got hers first.

Three new squeaky toys, a bandana, and a soft fleecy blanket.

Brinley did pretty good too.

She got a blanket and a new dress.

A penguin stuffy!

A gnome stuffy! Brinley scored!

I couldn't wait to get my presents.

Ok, I had to take a lil break from opening all those toys. 

It wuz a pawsome Christmas! Made even better by a nice long walk in da afternoon and a few bites of ham. Merry Christmas and Yappy Howlidays y'all!

Winter Is Coming

Well, dat are what dey says on Game of Thrones and I guess it are true.  Cuz it wuz way colder here today and windy.  We's even sposed to get below freezin tonite!

I got my ride in my Whitley Wagon™ even though it wuz all breezy and cold.  And I barked a lotta zombies today too.

Zombie dogs, zombie boys on bikes, none of ya stands a chance!

We saw anudder pretty tree today - dey is all startin to turn now!

Last night my momma finished up dis new fleecey blanket - I guess she got it done just in time since are sposed to be gettin so cold.  One side has pink westies/scotties on it.  As ya can tell. I's already tested it out - see da white furs?

And da udder side are a hot pink mid-mod kinda print.

Ok, I promised y'all a sneak peak of some Christmassy dresses - some are gonna be Christmas presents (da wintery ones) and some I are gettin December 1.  I don't get to wear em before dat, my momma are a one-holiday-at-a-time girl.  And since she makes da whole family move Fanksgiving for her birthday, ya know I ain't gonna get to wear Christmas stuff before it.

Ya mighta noticed dere are two dresses.  Dat are cuz one are for me and one are for BFF Finley.

She's gotten 2 sets of dresses done so far - and a third one are cut out and waiting for her to start sewin on it.

I's gonna have a whole new Christmassy wardrobe!!
