Guess Who's Back? Back Again?

And she brought a friend!

Ok, I'll stop rap attempts, BOL.

I hadn't been able to blog for dis last week cuz momma wuz so busy wif da moving and unpacking.

I was so glad I had my BFF wif me!

Being around Brinley helps me feel a lil more confident wif stuff, so it was nice to have her come to my new place wif me.

We wanted to think everyone for their kind words about Bonham. Losing him wuz so sudden and everyone are still very sad about it.

Bonham wuz kinda my momma and grandma's joint project since my momma wuz da one who rescued him from da streets (literally) and grandma wuz taking care of him.

They talked about Bonham maybe coming to live wif me and Travis once my momma got a house (hopefully within a year or so). Poor lil guy just didn't last that long.

We'll all miss him.

But da momma's didn't have time to sit around and cry because they had to drive from Lubbock to San Antonio da next day.

Da move went ok - and all my toys have reappeared!

But the best thing wuz getting to hang wif my BFF while da mommas did all da boring unpacking stuff.

We had a lot of fun together.

And da mommas finally finished all da unpacking.

I'm glad our only job are looking cute!

We had fun exploring my new place together.

It are pretty nice - I'll put some pics up soon!

And there are GRASS! Instead of just dirt everywhere, BOL.

All my stuff seems to have made it fine.

I wuz really enjoying having Brinley around.

But she and grandma went back to Plano today.

So now it are just me, momma, and Travis.

But momma said Brinley will probably be back to visit in October.

Are it October yet?

And grandma are talking about moving to San Antonio too which means we would get to hang out a lot more.

Sounds good to me - start house hunting grandma!!

RIP Bonham

 

Aunt Ally found Bonham passed away this morning. He got some breakfast at six and she found him around nine. We don't know what happened - of course, we don't know much about Bonham. We do think he was older, and he may have been dumped because he was sick. We never could figure out why someone would dump him - he was such a sweet cat and he was very loving. We only had him for eight months, but we loved him and we're all sad and going to miss him. RIP Bonham Leonidas.

Today we're celebrating Bonham's birthday!  

Now we don't really know when his birthday is, or how old he is for sure. So da mommas picked May 26th for his birthday and we are guessing he are 2 based on what da vet estimated.

As ya can tell, he got some good presents. A nippy piñata wand toy, a shark, and a nip nana. Cats luv dat nip stuff.

And judging by his face, dat nip musta been chronic, MOL.

Happy birthday dude! Maybe it will help him mellow out a bit?? MOL!

There and Back Again

 

So on Wednesday morning, ok, da momma's vershun of morning which others call "early afternoon" we got all loaded up in da car and hit da road. 

Dis time my BFF went wif me.

We had to do a very important security check at da West Texas HQ. Momma says it wuz ackshually something about her picking up exams, but yeah, da real reason wuz dat I, Head of Security, had to go do a check in. We had to make shure no tumbleweeds or flying tortillas had infiltrated da premises.

We gave it da all clear and den we headed back to Plano.

Da new kitty, Bonham, now has free rein of da household and I have to try to restrain myself from wanting to play chasey wif him.

I think he'd enjoy a good game of chasey, but momma says he's been through a lot and I need to leave him alone. I has gotten some good sniffs in at least.

Today me and Brinley rocked our reindeer hoodies.

Momma says da sentiment are appropriate, espeshully given my kitty obsesshun.

He's Official!

 

Well, da vet got da results from Bonham's tests today - he are FIV/FeLV negative, so he are now an offishul member of da family!

Which are good, since da mommas kinda jumped da gun yesterday and bought him a tag, BOL.

Since we know he are staying now, we got to meet him.

I got in one good whiff before momma said I wuz being too hyper.

But it are a NEW KITTEH! I wanted to really smell him good. I had to settle for sitting in a chair near him while he sat in my momma's lap.

Brinley just snoozed - I guess since he are not on TV, she are not da interested, BOL. Anyways, welcome to da family Bonham!
