Not Quite Wordless Wednesday


Hey y'all!  I's wearing my brand new Angel Greta button dat da Idaho Pugs sent me - it are so cute!!! As most of y'all know, October are breast cancer awareness month.  Da Idaho Pugs' momma are a breast cancer survivor and every year, Angel Greta sends dese buttons out to her Blogville pals.  Ya can read all bout it here.  My momma's grandma who we went to go see lastest weekend are a breast cancer survivor too, and I know lotsa us in Blogville have family members who are survivors.  Tell your mommas to check demselves for any lumps and make sure to check us too - pups and kitties can get breast cancer too.  So think pink, save the boobies (dey is GREAT for nappin on) and beat breast cancer!

    You're so cute in pink (any color actually)! My mom (FiveSibes Hu-Nanny) is a breast cancer survivor, too. They are all warriors in our book. We hope one day there will be no more cancer. Until then, we think pink, too!

    You rock the button. Lady doesn't have any of the breast cancer in her family. However, her adopted Grandma (a family friend who is like a grandma), is a 2 times survivor.

    We just love our Angel Greta pin and have been wearing it to work. Mom got a Ma'am-o-gram a few weeks ago as early detection is vital. I'm glad she got a thumbs up and will schedule another one in a year.

    Very sweet and a very good reminder Whitley..my Mum is a breast cancer survivor and i have had several lumps and bumps biopsied..always take time to give those 'girls' some attention :) loves Fozziemum xx

    You look beautiful. Yes, mom got one of Angel Greta's buttons last year and gave it to a friend who had cancer. Mom's friend is cancer free today. There must be some angel magic in Greta's button.

    Growlmy saw a save the Ta-Ta's on a bumper sticker and had a good giggle even if its a serious thing.

    That is a great button you got to wear in the pink month. Did you know that rose zircon (No, its a pink tourmaline...),is also a birthstone color for October?? Pink again:))

    Growlmy is a cancer survivor too, but not breast cancer...she knows many women that are though.
