Hi pals!

Well, yesterday wuz my momma's last day of work at Texas Tech. Ok, she still has to grade papers and tests and stuffs, but it wuz her last day of class. So I got to come to class wif her!

I got to wear one of my new dresses to show off!

Anyways, after stopping for a Starbucks puppaccino, we went to momma's work.

I got lotsa pets and I got to sit in a chair and watch da class while momma talked. Pretty shure most of em wuz watching me though. 

Then we went on a walk around campus. I got to pose by da fountain at Memorial Circle.

Didja know Texas Tech are 100 years old? Dat are almost as old as some of momma's former coworkers I thinks. BOL BOL.

There are a statute of Will Rogers on campus. Not really shure why since he are from Oklahoma, but maybe there were already enuf Buddy Holly statutes in Lubbock?

Well, we're gonna be saying bye bye to Texas Tech and Lubbock soon. But I enjoyed my walk around campus!

I are so happy I got to spend da day wif my BFF!

We got to go on a walk together and bark up da whole town. But earlier in da days, da momma abandoned us to go to Prairie Dog Town!

Now WHY in da world would dey not bring a couple of world class rodent hunters (we both have rat and mouse kills to our names) to Prairie Dog Town???

I mean, we could come back wif Prairie Dog Dinner.

And I know we woulda had SOO much fun digging in those holes!

Ugh, just look at dem rackin frackin varmints.

I shoulda been there! And momma says they wuz "chubby" and "cute" and made funny lil barkin noises.

I bet they woulda made some noises if me and Brinley had gotten to go!!

Weird Big Dogs

Hey pals, well as ya can see, I survived da grooming ordeal yesterday. And there wuz SO much fur that came off and I are still dis fluffy. It duz feel good to be a lil lighter though. Today I went on my walk in da park - well, there some really weird big dogs there. And I mean WEIRD - I are used to big dogs (even if I don't like da ones dat run too close to me much) but there were HUGE. And one of em even had a human riding it!! OMD!!! 

Well, I didn't mind em cuz at least dey wasn't running at me while dere human tossed a chuck-it. But still, VERY weird.

OMD, Momma's Back!

 

So something VERY weird happened this week!

My momma left me for DAYS!

And so did Brinley's!

And they took Finley wif em! And not us!!

Yup, that's right you lil whippersnappers. Hey everyone, it's Finley here, and unlike The Fluffy and Clueless (I think Kinley might have fluff where her brain should be), I know what is going on. I always know what's going on, it's part of my job as Sheriff Finley. 

Well, I have been asking the mommas for a road trip for a long time. And I guess they finally listened and decided to give me a road trip for my 15th birthday. Well, ok, it was a couple days late, but I know it was a trip for my birthday. 

I'm not sure why they decided I should go to Lubbock of all places, but they did. And I'm not sure why they kept talking about apartments and houses when the road trip was all about me. But I made sure to get them to focus on me by yipping as high-pitched as I could while I was sitting in the backseat for no apparent reason. It really helped them focus on ME, especially when it was raining.

Ok, I'll let you in on a secret. But it's only because I trust you. There was a major security problem at the hotel in Lubbock and the hotel people specifically requested the smartest, most ferocious westie in Texas to come check it out and intimidate everyone by staying there for a few days and marking territory. So it was really a business trip, but we can't be letting just anyone know that. It's just all in a day's work for me.

Uhhh, me and Brinley aren't really buying Finley's story.  

Momma said it had to do wif finding an apartment and that me and her and Travis are gonna be moving. And that I'm gonna hafta be a big brave girl. WHAT??
