Sunday Selfies

Hi pals!

So we ackshaully had some snow yesterday!

But it didn't stick to da ground becuz it had been 70 da day before. Finley wuz glad - she duz not like da cold!  

Brinley got all brushed for her selfie today - whether she liked it or not, BOL!

Finley's blood results came back from da vet - her white blood cell count wuz a lil high, but other than that, she's doing pretty good.

Momma said if Brinley had to get brushed, I did too. Sigh . . . 

It duz make for a cute double selfie though!

Friday Recap

So it's been a while since I got to do a post.

We's had rain da last couple days. Tonite da tornado sirens went off and Brinley went nutso. Not at da sirens or da thunder, but at da storm coverage on da TV. She hates storm graphics and windshield wipers. 

We had to go into da bathroom for a lil bit while momma hunted for Travis who decided to hide, but da sirens stopped pretty soon.

It's STILL raining out there.

Well, other da rain, da mommas has finished taking down da Christmas decorayshuns.

One day for da outside, one VERY long day for the tree (24 hours of work), and anudder VERY long day for da inside stuffs.

But Finley still had to get a baff dis morning - HA HA!

My momma got dis weird thing in da mail da udder day.

I think she said it wuz a brooming table?

Wait, why are Finley laffin???

Hey pals. It are so sad what are happening Down Under, and we wanted to let our pals in Australia know we are thinking bout dem.

  

Brinley (da pee-marker extraordinaire) said dat maybe we could head down there and help put out da fires. Momma said she didn't think doing 10 pees on one hour-long walk wuz really gonna help out.

I are wearing my aboriginal art dress in solidarity wif y'all.

Again, it are not gonna really help, but we are thinkin bout y'all and your beautiful country and hoping for rain for you.

And hoping for steaks for us. Hey, we're pups, ya can't blame us!

In news a lil closer to home, da mommas are taking down Christmas. Which takes days. Today it wuz da outside decorayshuns.

Can you believe they were outside for hours and we didn't get to come out to snoopervise??? Dat's cruel and unusual punishment!

At least we'll get to snoopervise the undoing of the tree,

Sunday Selfies

It's Sunday, so it's selfie time! I went on anudder bike ride today, but dis one wuzn't as eggciting. No kitties named Bob like yesterday and no transformers catching on fire and sending up clouds of black smoke like on Friday.

But ya know what wuz eggciting? Da bacon we got this morning! And da ice cream bowls we got to lick tonite!

Food are da best kinda eggcitement dere are!

A Kitty Named Bob

Hi pals! Today on my bike ride, me and momma saw a kitty named Bob! He wuz da biggest kitty I has ever seen and he looked a lil different than my kitty siblings. Momma tried to get a picture of him, but he hopped over a fence before she could.

No Finley, I are shure I know what I are talking bout. Momma said his name wuz Bob. He did look kinda wild though. Maybe dat are why da local high school are called da wildcats! They musta named the team after Bob! 

Brinley didn't get to see Bob, but she wuz busy recovering from what she saw on TV earlier.

Da mommas saw this documentary on creative groomers. Well Groomed on HBO in case you're interested. I think Brinley wuz traumatized - she usually likes to watch TV, but she just buried her head. She are not a fan of any grooming and I think she are worried her furs are gonna get turned into a canvas. BOL! 

Don't worry, I are pretty shure da mommas like us white and looking like westies. It wuz an interesting documentary and some of the groomers are definitely talented. It's worth a google search if ya don't know what I'm barking about. As long as the pups are happy, I guess it are ok. Putting up wif that much grooming would not be for us though - we barely tolerate the grooming we get. 

I'm glad momma keeps her creativity channeled into dresses and jackets. BOL! Today's is a scottie jacket. Complete wif scottie buttons.

Fashion Friday

Hi pals!

So far 2020 has gotten off to a pretty good start. We've gotten walks (and snacks) everyday! And no baffs!

Ok, Finley had a baff last nite. But she has bad allergies and needs a baff twice a week. 

Today Finley went to the vet. Nuffin to worry about, just her semi-annual checkup. She weighed 15 pounds, so she's lost a lil bit of weight. The vet said her heart and lungs sounded good (she has a congenital heart murmur so da momma's worry about her heart). She got some glucosamine treats for the lil bit of arthritis we think she has, but all in all, it wuz a pretty good checkup.

Da two of us just stayed at home.

Today all THREE of us wore matching jackets.

We got these for Christmas.

There's even lil westie buttons!

And look, really westie hair on it. Just like every other dark piece of clothing in this house. BOL!

Hello 2020!

Well, it's 2020. A new year, a new decade. I don't really notice any difference.

Da momma celebrated at home. Which meant I got kisses at midnight and a taste of a champagne. Who needs a boyfriend when ya got a westie, right momma?? 

It might look like da momma's partyin wuz too much for my BFF, but me and her went on a SUPER long walk today. Like 2 1/2 hours! And we weren't tired at all. Ya can't wear out 3 year old westies.

Hopin 2020 brings all of our pals health, happiness, and extra cookies everyday!!
