¡Feliz Día de Los Muertos!

¡Feliz día de los muertos amigos! I'm wearing my Day of the Dead dress to celebrate tonite.

Yesterday we got some pawsome news about my pal Bindi - she has been found and is back home wif her momma! This is what her momma had to say on da book of faces:

Bindi is home. Halloween will now be my favorite holiday. Her costume, however, this year is a skeleton. My 15 pound dog is now 10 pounds but no obvious injuries and doesn't seem too traumatized. As soon as I had her in my arms she was kissing my nose. Lay in my lap on her back for an hour while I took out burrs and was more than willing to stay right there when I was done. Thank you everyone for keeping me going with all you prayers and support. You stayed positive when my Hope started to fade. And to all the little Westie guardian angels that watched over her.

Perro de los Muertos

Hi pals! It are día de los muertos - da holiday where ya celebrate da dead. So I decided to make a very westie ofrenda and put up pictures of Finley and my predecessor Whitley so they could come visit. I lit a candle for dem to find their way and I put out a hippo toy for them to play wif - momma says Angel Whitley luved hippos. And cookies de muerto for them to taste. And da best part of dat are - dey can't really eat them, so I get to!

We all miss ya Finley. And I know momma misses you Whitley - I never got to meet ya, but ya musta been pretty pawsome to make everyone want more westies. Maybe next year I'll make a bigger one and put up the bassets too - but since Whitley and Finley are da only pups my blogging pals knew, we stuck with them dis year.

¡Feliz día de los muertos!

Kitty Problems

So our family's bad string of luck wif kitties continues. Today it wuz my lil partner in crime, Bowie. When da mommas woke up, he wuz weak and wobbly - acting kinda like he had had a stroke or something. So they rushed him off to the e-vet.

We still don't know what wuz wrong wif him - did he fall, eat something bad, have his electrolytes outta whack, just have a mystery episode? But they GOOD news he are getting better and is sposed to get to come home tomorrow.  Good, cuz I missed having him home since me and him play all da time.

These kitties all need to get better! We don't like em being so sick.

Maybe it are Mercury retrograde. Maybe it wuz da full moon. We don't know, but we is tired of it all and da mommas are exhausted. At least we got our walk today.

Hey pals! It are día de los muertos!

So ya know we are all dressed up to celebrate.

Día de los muertos luz also da momma's theme this Howloween.

Some of y'all said ya wanted to see pictures, so here ya go. And ya know my momma - there are a LOT of pickshures.

My momma.

She made the bandana and skirt herself (she already had the top). My grandma helped wif her makeup.

They had tejano and mariachi music going outside.

Da mommas also made da flower garland.

Here's the front yard.

Aunt Ally.

A double dead selfie. BOL!

Me and my momma - I wuz giving her a kissie.

Brinley and Finley's momma.

My grandma made her headdress and skirt too - along wif making em for Aunt Ally!

My momma and my grandma.

My grandma mostly did her own makeup, but my momma helped some.

Another pic of the front yard.

The skulls are paper mâché - made and painted by da mommas.

My momma painted this pumpkin.

A pumpkin carved by my grandma.

My momma's carved pumpkin.

My grandma's painted pumpkin.

And my grandma painted dis skull.

My momma did this one.

It looks like a fiesta for shures!

As ya an probably figger out, my momma wuz pretty happy wif da decorayshuns.

She found these toys at Party City.

And she painted this sign.

They had a good Halloween - passing out candy, then going out to eat and to the movies.

My momma even scared a trick or treater who thought she wuz a decorayshun until she moved!

Ok, enuf of them. More pics of US!

We didn't see any zombies, but they were probably scared off by our barking.

Mostly lotsa superheroes - if they are so super wif powers, why is they beggin for candy??

We don't hafta yell trick or treat, all we hafta do is turn on da puppy dog eyes to get cookies!
