It's time for anudder edishun of Music Monday!
The theme this week are decades of rock and we picked da 90s.
That's way before our time, but since my momma wuz alive den (she are ancient!) she said she'd help.
So uhhh, party like it's 1999 I guess. Mask-free (as long as you're in your house or a pup like us).
We liked this trip down memory lane with the music.

DeleteThe 90s are better than the 2020s by miles.
ReplyDeleteMost anything are better than 2020.
DeleteGail was already quite ancient in the 90s, but she does like Nirvana.
ReplyDeleteYay, we picked a winner!
DeleteIf you think your mom is ancient then I don't know what you think of me. lol My youngest two kiddies are 90s babies (1990 & 1994). This decade sort slipped by me where mewsic goes. It wasn't until after I began blogging that I got my ears in tune to the sounds of that era. Only the bigger artists' songs in the early part of the decade is recognizable anything after mid-point and I'm lost but I'm catching up. I do know your mom's artist picks by name but not always up with their songs, so it was fun to sample these tunes. Thanks for joining the 4M crew on the dance floor. Have a boogietastic week, furriends!
ReplyDeleteMy momma is 86 and Aunt Ally is 89.
DeleteMy kids are also 90's babies (96 and 97). Great songs and a cute pup.

ReplyDeletePetcretary?? Nah, she is a dinosauraus!! BOL!
They're just a lil younger dan my momma and her sister den.
DeleteMy son is a 1990's baby. That isn't my favorite decade musically (although it gave us Green Day, hurray!) but I enjoyed this look back at the 90's. I think this is my first Hole song and it definitely has the grunge sound to it.
ReplyDeleteMy momma remembers when she first heard Green Day - her best friend's older sister let her listen to her music. ;)
