Hi pals!!
Me and Brinley wuz on Duck Duty since some goofy girl duck thinks she wants to have her ducklings in our pool. We has been patrolling da backyard and keeping her away. Ok, we is TRYING but she are a very stubborn duck.
Finley says we should just jump in da pool and chase her off. Uhhh, I think we'll just bark from da deck.
Anyways, before we went on Duck Patrol, we got to model da reverse side of our jungle dresses.
Here's a closeup.
Anyways, we had to get baffs tonite too.
I mean, dogs who are on Duck Duty shouldn't hafta get baffs, right?
Sounds like you ladies have your work cut out for you! It might be fun to have a mother duck raise her babies where you can watch them. But they sure do make a mess!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, momma says she does not want duck poop in da pool. BOL. Luckily, there's ponds and creeks nearby.
DeleteWe hope Mrs. Duck can find a better pond to have her babies in. You all look so cute in your dresses.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of them around.
DeleteOur philosophy has always been live and let duck
ReplyDeleteWell, we just don't think momma duck is really gonna want a nest in a yard wif terriers.
DeleteWe hope your duck momma finds a better nesting spot...she won't get any privacy with you around, BOL!
ReplyDeleteBut don't send her here either...we might want to have a taste...and another of her eggs...
There was a duck family in the courtyard where petcretary works, and they had to get a wildlife rescue to get them out of there...it did provide some fun watching for our residents...one duck with 11 wee ducks!!
Pretty shure momma duck headed over to the creek - a much better place for her!
