Hey pals, didja hear about da tornadoes dat hit Dallas? Yeah, it wuz scary wind dat did NOT come outta Finley's butt, BOL. Don't worry, da three of us are ok.
Da sirens went off here and we had to all go to my momma's bathroom for a lil bit. Da tornadoes hit south of us - dere wuz 9 total in the Metroplex and the biggest one an EF-3 wuz in north Dallas/Richardson.
In case ya don't know, we live in Plano, which are da suburb directly north of Richardson. Dere wuz a lotta damage, but luckily nobody died.
Now it are just time to relax and watch da World Series.
Go 'Stros! Texas needs somefin good after dis weekend.
so glad that you girls are OK. Those tornados are scary business

Hooray that you are all fine and unscathed after all that scary weather. We had 50MPH gusts of winds here but that is nothing compared to a tornado.
ReplyDeleteWe did have about 1/2 a catalpa tree come down, in our back woods so nothing got smashed.
We are rooting for the Astros here as well, even though Pawppy comes from DC. Go figure, he is a defo American League fan! Too bad they lost game one...sigh...
Good to know you're all OK. But tornadoes just got scarier if they mean you have to retreat to a BATHROOM. I mean, what if the humans decide to pass the time by giving you a BATH??!!
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
how good that nothing bad happened to you... we cross our paws for your beautiful TX and for all peeps and pets and the wildlife... go away nasty storms and tornadoes!!!
ReplyDeleteWe saw that on the news! Very scary. We don't even like little winds.
ReplyDelete@Idaho PugRanch - Yeah, dey are!
ReplyDelete@Meezer's Mews & Terrieristical Woofs - Well, they lost game 1 against da Yankees too, so maybe they'll be better next game.
@Bouncing Bertie - Not wif three of us in there and three cats too. BOL, there's barely room for them to sit, much less wrangle wet westies!
@easyweimaraner - Yeah and stay gone!
@Bella Roxy & Macdui - When the winds get loud, I'll bark em.
We're so glad that you're all okay.
ReplyDeleteGlad you all are okay. Mom is familiar with Plano as she worked with banks a lot negotiating short sales during the housing crisis, and she says like 99% of the places she was calling were in Plano, TX.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to know you girls and your family are all safe after those scary storms.
ReplyDeleteWe were hoping you were okay! We had three tornadoes near us, but none TOO close. Momma and I hung out in the laundry room, which was WEIRD.
ReplyDeleteThat must have been very scary. We are glad you are safe.
ReplyDeleteWe are very glad you pups, and your peeps and kitties too, are all OK and didn't get hit by those storms!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are all safe - thought about you when I watched the news - you were in my prayers! Go Astros!
ReplyDeleteKaci here in New River Arizona. About a month ago we had our first tornado hit down about 1/2 mile from us. We never have such storms so Kali and I just barked and Kismet squawked. A huge outside sun screen attached to a window ripped down and mangled. Thanks to listing it on Craigslist we got it picked up for free.
ReplyDeleteHe wanted to use screen for his garden. We also got a broken wine frig taken away for free. Mom loves putting stuff for free on Craigslist as long as it is not US!!!!
So good those bad-windies didn't mess your lovely furs! They are not nice at all and cause lots of awful things to happen.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, we may not be able to visit you or your kitty sibs for a short time, cause you'll be cheering on your Astros (that's OK) but being here in DC we
will be cheering on our Nationals and so ... still wanting to "stay friends" it's best we stay quiet at this time ...
Sigh and Bye ... for now,
Zoey and Dougie Dog
@Molly the AireGirl - Me too!
ReplyDelete@My GBGV Life - We could see that.
@Millie and Walter - Fanks!
@Matilda the Boxer - We hung out in the bathroom wif cats. REALLY weird.
@Foley Monster, Pocket and River Song - Fanks!
@C.L.W.STEP - So are we!
@Susan from Bucks County - Fanks!
